Hi everyone out in there in Redskins Nation I'm Frederik Shneider better known as Erik prefer to be called Erik, also known as E, Rik, Big E, Big Easy & Easy E. Know I'm not from New Orleans or a Saints Fan. Those last 2 nicknames just have to do with my physical stature & demeanor. I'm not a Cowboys, Giants or Eagles Fan. As a Die Hard Redskins Fan I'm required to hate all 3 of those teams. Their the Loyal Opposition, the Redskins version of Al Qaeda or the Soviet Union. 

I've been a Redskin fan since 1982 when I was 6 almost 7 years old. A hell of a year to become a Redskin fan because they won the SB that year. I grew up in the 1st Joe Gibbs era when it seemed like you thought the Redskins were going to win whoever they were playing including in the NFC East not just the best division in Football but in Pro Sports. It seemed like it was just a matter of what the score was going to be especially at RFK. I like Fed Ex Field, its very comfortable with excellent site lines all over the Stadium. But its a pain to get to & lacks atmosphere. There will never ever be anything like RFK again, the ultimate Stadium when it came to Fan Atmosphere. 

The last 15 Seasons can be summed up as the Era of Mediocrity where instead of winning 65% of our games were losing more then half. For the most part the Redskins haven't been awful. We've had a few good seasons, a few bad ones but mostly a lot of mediocre you know 8-8, 7-9, 8-7 etc. To live life is to progress & if you stay in the middle & not go down or progress, your there but your not living. Its time for the Redskins to progress to return to their roots to return to not only 1 of the best Franchises in Football but in Sports. You know someone smart once said "that those who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them" & this is a lesson that Mr Snyder & his management haven't learned because they've repeated the same mistakes over the last 10 years like trading the future for the present & I think the Donavan Mcnabb trade is another example of that but as a Redskin fan I hope I'm wrong. Mr Snyder's heart is in the right place & I truly believe he loves the Redskins Franchise but I think its been time but never too late but sooner better then later that the results start to match his love for his Club & the Redskins get back to being the Great Franchise that they historically have been.
