A win, or something like one

The Redskins pulled out a 16-13 victory at home against the winless Tampa Bays, who at least get to go home to Florida. The Redskins certainly know how to put the ugh in ugly. Trailed 10-0 at halftime. Got an extra point blocked. Turned the ball over four times. Eek. Hide the women and children. Don't let them see this hideous beast. ... They got themselves pulled together a bit in the second half. Jason Campbell threw a pair of touchdown passes and the defense pretty much blunted whatever Tampa Bay tried. The Bucs finished with 229 total yards, only 84 in the second half. ... So the Skins even their record at 2-2, with their two victories by a total of five points against the moribund St. Louis Rams and these here Bucs, neither of which has a won a game since the fall of Troy. ... Hey, take 'em any way you can get 'em. Enjoy the W. It beats a loss. By a lot. ... More from the park on Monday.

  • That's the most fun I've ever had at a football game! The fans were great--if I do say so myself! It was amazing getting your tweets before and after the game!
